Joan Gregory
Joan Gregory was born in Albert County, New Brunswick, but spent most of her childhood on a farm near the Bay of Fundy at Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. She was first encouraged to draw, at a very early age, by her father, and has continued to sketch and paint since then. Mainly self-taught, she has studied at workshops with Canadian artist Fred Ross, Robert Percival, John Amos, Alice Reed, Roger Savage, Jack Reid and Nicole Foreman, as well as international instructors Zoltan Szabo and Christopher Schink. Today Joan's paintings are in collections across Canada, U.S.A., Britain, Holland and Australia. Joan is represented in several corporate art collections including the Atlantic Lottery Corporation and the "Collection of Fine Arts" of the City of Moncton.
