Michelle St. Onge
Michelle Saint Onge is a graduate of The School of Craft and Design, Sheridan College, Oakville, Ontario. She began her career designing private label textiles for one of Canada's largest department stores before beginning a career as a freelance textile artist for a leading textile studio in New York City. Her clients often included Victoria's Secret, Nautica, Ann Taylor, Ralph Lauren and Pottery Barn. In 2005 she opened her own textile studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia and began creating pet portraits for her friends and family.
One year later she began creating work for galleries and public venues. In may 2009, Martha Stewart featured Michelle's silk screens as "Craft of the Day"....
